In preparing for the 2023 – 2024 academic year, the DeSoto Independent School District administrators, in accordance with board policy EB (Legal), along with
community members, parents, faculty, and staff form a calendar committee to ensure a productive and effective academic year.
At the close of the development sessions, the DeSoto ISD school community is offered the opportunity to review two options of the calendar to see which one is most preferred by those served by the district.
