To ensure that children continue receiving delicious and nutritious meals throughout the summer DeSoto ISD will continue its annual free summer meals program.
From June 6 through July 28, all kids up to age 18 and adults with special needs up to age 21 can receive free breakfast and lunch on Mondays through Thursdays at select locations.
Each meal will include protein, grains, fruit, vegetables and milk. All children must select a fruit and/or vegetable, and all meals must be eaten on site.
The free meals are made possible through the federally funded Summer Food Service Program. For more information, visit the District’s website or contact the child nutrition department at 972-230-4780.
