DeSoto ISD HR New Application Process

  • ALL applicants are required to apply through the district TEAMS on-line application system.
  • TeacherMatch.org It is necessary to complete TeacherMatch before you can be considered for employment within DeSoto ISD. Please set aside at least 90 minutes to complete the test and read the directions carefully. Within 24 hours of completing your application with DeSoto ISD, you will receive an email from TeacherMatch that contains directions for completion. Thank you for your interest in DeSoto ISD.

Seeking Bus Drivers! 
 
JOB POSTING NO.: 1001 with Dallas County Schools

LOCATION:  DeSoto ISD
SALARY RANGE: $15.50/hour
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To operate DCS multi-function activity and charter buses in a safe, reliable and efficient manner to meet the needs of DCS, the public and the customers served by DCS. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED (or currently enrolled and participating in an accredited GED program), or pass a standardized literacy test prescribed by DCS
Meet all state (TEA) qualification for school bus drivers
Must have an acceptable driving record and pass a criminal history check
Must pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen
Must possess good communication skills and work well with children
Class A or B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with “P” & “S” endorsements required
Ability to communicate effectively in speaking, reading, and writing in English
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
