DeSoto ISD Student Transportation Services is to get students to and from school safely, on time and ready to learn. DeSoto ISD Student Transportation Services will provide students with safety, excellence, and continual professional development.

Student Transportation is available for students living two or more miles from their home schools. All students should be at District designated bus stops at least 10 minutes before the posted stop time. There are no bus services for the Alternative Education Campus. Transportation to the Alternative Education Campus is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Bus routes and any subsequent changes are posted at the school.

DeSoto ISD contracts with First Student for the district’s school bus transportation needs. First Student maintains the buses, assists with routes, and employs bus drivers and attendants. Bus routes are available on the DeSoto ISD website Quick Link for parents. For more information on routes, contact your child’s school or contact First Student at 972-274-8123. For routes and service issues, such as late buses and day-to-day operations of transportation services, contact First Student Monday – Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
