Due to the recent inclement weather day on January 16, the previously scheduled school board meeting was canceled, and changed the meeting series for the January meetings.
The new schedule of meetings will occur as noted below.
The monthly student data progress meeting will occur on Monday, January 22. It will include the student academic and athletic achievement recognitions.
The monthly business board meeting will now occur on Wednesday, January 24. It will include the annual School Board Appreciation Month celebration.
The Bi-Monthly Board Town Hall scheduled for January 24 is canceled.
The community is invited to attend and join in the celebration of the DeSoto ISD trustees. The meetings will be held in the district’s Instructional Support Center located at 200 E. Belt Line Road in DeSoto at 6:30 p.m.
As is regular protocol, the board meetings are open to the public, and public comments are accepted on agenda and non-agenda items when entered according to the stated criteria.
The DeSoto ISD Board of Trustees meets twice during a month and hosts town hall meetings bi-monthly. The schedule of the district’s regular board meetings and the current agendas for the board meetings and town halls are on the Board of Trustees webpage of the DeSoto ISD website, www.desotoisd.org.
