Of these shining stars, the campus teacher of the year finalists will participate in a selection process headed by the DeSoto ISD Office of Human Resources from which the elementary and secondary teachers of the year will emerge.

Starting May 4, 2020, the DeSoto ISD will publish a video spotlighting each campus teacher of the year. Due to shelter-in-place orders, the videos were self-recorded by each teacher and include commentary from the campus principal.
