Dallas College in partnership with DeSoto High school presents the Completion Ceremony for the students in the Certified Nurse Aide and Phlebotomy Technician Program from Mountain View College at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Through DeSoto ISD’s Career & Technical Education programs, students have the option to choose from an array of endorsements and pathways including agriculture, business, finance, health sciences and more.
“Our CTE programs prepare students for the future,” said CTE Director Nicholas Johnson. “While in high school students have an opportunity to gain skills that would allow them to be successful as they enter into their careers after graduation.”
At this year’s completion ceremony, 11 DeSoto High School students will receive their Certified Nurse Aide Certification and 30 students will receive their Phlebotomy certification.
DeSoto ISD celebrations the accomplishments of these hard-working scholars.
