DeSoto ISD Launches NAVEX Platform to Strengthen Compliance, Accountability, and Transparency
DeSoto Independent School District (DeSoto ISD) is pleased
to announce the launch of NAVEX, a secure platform designed to ensure
consistent, compliant handling of incidents and cases across the district.
"The launch of NAVEX is a significant step
forward in our commitment to transparency and ethical practices. By providing
our staff with a clear and consistent system for handling incidents, we ensure
that every case is managed responsibly, and every student and staff member is
supported," said DeSoto ISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Usamah
Rodgers.
What is NAVEX?
NAVEX is DeSoto ISD’s centralized
system for reporting, managing, and tracking incidents and cases related
to compliance, ethics, and accountability.
NAVEX is a confidential incident reporting and case
management platform that allows employees, students, families, and community
members to report concerns securely and anonymously. The platform supports
multiple reporting options, including phone, web, and mobile access, making it
easy to share information at any time.
Why is DeSoto ISD Utilizing NAVEX?
DeSoto ISD is implementing NAVEX as part of our commitment
to transparency, accountability, and student/staff safety. By using NAVEX, the
district will:
- Provide
a centralized, consistent system for reporting concerns, including
misconduct, safety issues, bullying, and violations of policy.
- Ensure
that all reports are tracked, investigated, and resolved according to
district protocols and state requirements.
- Support
compliance with Senate Bill 571 and other state-mandated reporting
obligations.
