DeSoto Independent
School District proudly celebrates and honors the remarkable service and
lasting legacy of its 2025 retirees. These dedicated educators, administrators,
and support staff members have collectively given decades of their lives to
uphold the district’s mission of academic excellence, student achievement, and
the holistic development of all learners.
Each retiree has
personified the district’s core values of integrity, commitment, and
excellence. Their daily dedication has helped shape generations of students and
advance the district’s vision to ensure all students SOAR—achieving success,
opportunity, accountability, and respect.
“Our 2025 retirees have
been pillars of strength, wisdom, and heart in DeSoto ISD,” said Dr. Usamah Rodgers, Superintendent of Schools. “They
exemplify what it means to lead with excellence, to serve with passion, and to
uplift our students and staff every single day. I am incredibly grateful for
the indelible mark they have left on our district. Their spirit of excellence
will continue to inspire us all.”
DeSoto ISD deeply
appreciates the many years of service each retiree has provided. Their
contributions are not just seen—they are felt throughout the district and will
be remembered for years to come.
We value you. We
