At The Meadows Elementary, the steady presence of Mr. Billy Dean can be felt in every hallway, classroom, and shared space. As Lead Custodian, Mr. Dean plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained environment where students and staff can thrive.
With five years of service in education and at DeSoto ISD, Mr. Dean brings both professionalism and purpose to his work. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Business, but it is his commitment to integrity that most strongly defines how he shows up each day. “Integrity is the value that guides me,” he says. “I always do my best at anything I’m asked to do.”
Mr. Dean’s passion for education is rooted in service. His personal “why” is centered on giving back and paying it forward—supporting his community and investing in the future of students. He believes that every role in a school system matters and that leading by example has a lasting impact.
