DeSoto Independent School District is encouraging families who need bus transportation for the upcoming school year to complete the district’s transportation registration process as soon as possible.
Early registration helps the DeSoto ISD Transportation Department plan routes, assign bus stops and prepare to provide safe and reliable transportation for eligible scholars.
Students who live less than two miles from their assigned campus do not qualify for bus transportation unless they are in a hazardous area.
Families who need help completing the registration process can visit the Transportation Department booth during the DeSoto ISD Enrollment Fair. Transportation staff will be available to answer questions, explain eligibility requirements and guide parents and guardians through registration.
Parents are encouraged to register promptly so the district can accurately plan transportation services before the first day of school.
