DeSoto ISD Athletics Seeks Game Day Volunteers for Football and Volleyball Season
DeSoto ISD Athletics is calling on parents, staff, alumni and community members to help create a welcoming and organized game day experience by volunteering to support ticket operations at home football and volleyball events.
As the fall athletic season gets underway, DeSoto ISD Athletics is seeking volunteers to assist with Game Day Ticket Support at home athletic events.
Volunteers will help welcome guests into district athletic facilities by checking digital ticket purchases at designated entrances and supporting an efficient entry process. The opportunity provides members of the Eagle community with another way to get involved while supporting DeSoto ISD student-athletes and athletic programs.
Whether you are a parent, alumnus, community member or proud supporter of DeSoto ISD, volunteers play an important role in helping home athletic events run smoothly.
How to Get Involved
Step 1: Create or Log In to Your VOLY Account
Interested volunteers should visit DeSoto ISD’s VOLY platform to create a volunteer account or log in to an existing account.
New and returning volunteers must complete all required volunteer application steps, including the district’s annual background check process, before serving at an event.
Step 2: Follow DeSoto Athletics in VOLY
Once logged in, volunteers should select DeSoto Athletics as one of the schools or organizations they follow.
Following DeSoto Athletics allows volunteers to receive information about upcoming athletic volunteer opportunities throughout the season.
Step 3: Complete the Game Day Ticket Support Interest Form
Volunteers should complete the Game Day Ticket Support interest form and select the home football or volleyball games they are available to support.
Participants may select multiple games throughout the season.

What Volunteers Can Expect
Game Day Ticket Support volunteers will:
- Arrive one hour before the scheduled game time.
- Assist with checking guests’ digital ticket purchases at designated entrances.
- Help provide an organized and welcoming entry experience.
- Remain at their assigned station through halftime.
Additional instructions and assignment information will be provided before each selected game.

DeSoto ISD athletic events bring together students, families, staff, alumni and community members in support of Eagle student-athletes. Volunteers help strengthen that experience by providing additional support to Athletics staff and helping guests enter district facilities smoothly.
Community members interested in serving are encouraged to complete the volunteer process, follow DeSoto Athletics in VOLY and submit the Game Day Ticket Support interest form.
