DeSoto Independent School District has released a step-by-step registration guide to help families complete student registration for the 2026–2027 school year. Parents and guardians can begin the online registration process through the district’s Online Registration Portal. Returning families should log in using their Parent Portal user ID and password. Families enrolling a new student who do not currently have a child attending DeSoto ISD should select Register New User to create an account.
The registration process includes nine steps:
- Select an existing student or create a new student profile.
- Enter or review the student’s information.
- Verify parent or guardian contact information.
- Add or update emergency contacts.
- Review the requested campus assignment.
- Complete the restriction request section.
- Review and submit all required parent forms.
- Upload required documents.
- Review the information and confirm enrollment.
Families should carefully review all information before submitting the registration application. Each required parent form must be completed and marked Complete before families can advance to the next step. During the restriction request section, parents and guardians should only select a box if they object to the release of specific information, including directory information, photographs, video recordings or audio recordings.
If the correct campus does not appear during registration, families should continue and complete the process. After registration is submitted, parents or guardians can complete an Enrollment Help Request using the QR code provided at the end of the registration process. The DeSoto ISD Enrollment Center will review the information and make any necessary corrections.
Once registration is complete, families may print the student’s registration confirmation for their records. Parents and guardians can then log out or begin registering another student. Families who need assistance may select Help Request near the bottom of the registration login page or submit an Enrollment Help Request after completing the process.
DeSoto ISD encourages families to complete registration promptly to help campuses prepare to welcome scholars for the 2026–2027 school year.
