DeSoto Independent School District has released its school supply lists for the 2026-27 academic year, giving families an opportunity to begin preparing for the first day of school on Aug. 10.
The lists are organized by grade level and are available in English and Spanish to help ensure every DeSoto ISD scholar begins the year with the materials needed to learn, grow and excel.
Families can review the lists for prekindergarten through second grade, third through fifth grade and secondary students in grades six through 12. The lists include classroom essentials such as pencils, notebooks, folders, headphones and other grade-specific materials.
Preparation plays an important role in creating productive learning environments. Having supplies ready before the first day allows scholars to enter their classrooms prepared to engage in instruction and begin another year of achievement and Eagle excellence.
Families are encouraged to review and download the appropriate list before shopping.
