DeSoto ISD Launches 2026-2027 Enrollment Campaign: "DeSoto Driven: Focused on Progress. Committed to Excellence."
DeSoto Independent School District is proud to announce the launch of enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year through a comprehensive districtwide campaign designed to highlight the opportunities, experiences, and outcomes available to students across the district.
Centered around the theme, "DeSoto Driven: Focused on Progress. Committed to Excellence," a reflection on the district's commitment to ensuring every student is academically prepared, athletically competitive, artistically expressive, and equipped for success beyond graduation.
"DeSoto ISD is a district on the move," said DeSoto ISD Director of School Leadership Dr. Raul Pena. "Our students continue to demonstrate excellence in the classroom, in competition, on the stage, and in the community. This campaign is about showcasing the authentic experiences that make DeSoto ISD a destination district of choice and inviting families to be part of our continued progress."
The district highlights five key pillars that define the DeSoto ISD experience:
FOCUSED ON ACHIEVEMENT
DeSoto ISD continues to invest in rigorous instruction, personalized learning, college and career readiness, and innovative educational experiences. The district has secured millions in grant funding to expand STEM opportunities and increase college access while continuing to strengthen academic outcomes across grade levels.
DRIVEN TO COMPETE
With a proud tradition of athletic excellence and more than 23 state championships across district history, DeSoto ISD develops scholar-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. Future investments, including the Student Athlete Success Center approved through the 2025 Bond Program, will further strengthen academic support systems for student-athletes.

From band and theater to dance and visual arts, DeSoto ISD students are provided opportunities to explore their creativity and showcase their talents on local, state, national, and international stages.
