DeSoto Independent School District invites families to attend Meet the Teacher Night at their scholar’s campus ahead of the 2026-27 school year and DeSoto High School Freshman Orientation. These events gives scholars and families an opportunity to meet teachers and campus leaders, visit classrooms and receive important information to help prepare for a successful start to the school year.
DeSoto High School Freshman Orientation
Incoming DeSoto High School freshmen and their families are encouraged to attend Freshman Orientation at 6 p.m. Aug. 4 in the Academy Cafeteria.
Freshman Orientation gives new Eagles an opportunity to become familiar with the campus, meet school staff, learn about student expectations and receive important information to prepare for a successful transition to high school.
