The DeSoto Independent School District will host a groundbreaking ceremony on June 22, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the DeSoto High School Athletic Fields, 600 Eagle Drive, DeSoto, Texas, marking the official launch of construction projects funded through the 2026 Athletics Bond Program.
This milestone event represents a transformational investment in DeSoto ISD student-athletes and the future of Eagle athletics, including enhanced facilities designed to support training, competition, and student development at the highest level.
“This groundbreaking represents our commitment to building environments where student-athletes can thrive, grow, and compete at championship standards,” said Karen Lacy, Board President of DeSoto ISD. “We are investing in more than facilities—we are investing in the future of Eagle excellence.”
The 2026 Athletics Bond Program reflects strong community support for modernized athletic spaces, expanded opportunities, and continued excellence across DeSoto ISD campuses.
