The DeSoto Independent School District has finalized candidate filings for the May 2, 2026, Board of Trustees election. The election will be held jointly with other area elections on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
Based on the standard three-year term expiration, School Board Place 3, Place 4, and Place 5 trustee seats are included in this election cycle. The official filing period closed at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026.
