DeSoto ISD to Provide Free School Supplies and Backpacks During Upcoming Enrollment Fair
As part of its continued commitment to supporting families and ensuring
student success, DeSoto Independent School District will distribute free school
supplies and clear backpacks during the district’s upcoming Enrollment Fairs:
Enrollment Fair Dates & Times (all at DeSoto High
School Early College High School Gym, 600 Eagle Drive, DeSoto, TX 75115)

July 31, 2025 – 8:00 AM–11:00 AM & 3:00 PM–7:00 PM
·
Saturday,
August 2, 2025 – 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
These events aim to help families finalize
2025–2026 enrollments in person.
Who Is
Eligible:
Supplies and backpacks are available to scholars who complete enrollment during the fairs or present proof of already completed enrollment.
What’s
Included:

Lower and upper elementary school supply packs
·
Middle and high school supply packs
Backpacks:
A small allotment of clear backpacks will be made
available at the upcoming enrollment fairs on a first-come, first-served basis,
pending completion of
enrollment or ability to provide proof of completed enrollment.
Additionally, clear backpacks will be available for sale
on the district website in the coming weeks for purchase.
DeSoto ISD is also preparing for a district-wide
distribution of supplies across campuses ahead of the new school year.
Supply bundles are being standardized by grade level to ensure equitable
access, and inventory teams are working to finalize available stock.
As part of this effort, the district is
evaluating the best use of leftover branded clear backpacks from last year.
These may be included in the giveaways or made available again through the
RevTrack online store.
In addition to supporting families at the
Enrollment Fair, DeSoto ISD will prepare equal
campus distributions in time for open
house events to make sure every scholar starts the year equipped for
success.
