DeSoto Lady Eagles Track Team: Ready to Soar in 2025 Season
The DeSoto Lady Eagles track and field team is set for a thrilling 2025 season filled with high hopes, fierce competition, and a drive to reach new heights. With a talented roster of athletes and the leadership of Head Coach Paetyn Thornton, the Lady Eagles are poised to make their mark across a challenging schedule of meets that promise to showcase their skills and determination.
The Lady Eagles will hit the ground running with an exciting series of pre-season meets. Their journey began on Feb. 1 at the DeSoto Relay, and the team will continue to build momentum over the course of the month:
The opening meets will allow the Lady Eagles to refine their skills, establish team chemistry, and get ready for the more intense competitions ahead.

District & Regional Showdowns
The District Championships will take place on April 2nd-4th at Lancaster, marking a pivotal point in their season. From there, the Lady Eagles will look to qualify for the Area Qualifier Meet and Regional Qualifier, with aspirations set on advancing to the State Championship:
