DeSoto High School’s Student Council, in collaboration with the DeSoto High School Parent, Teacher, and Student Association, is proud to announce the inaugural Mr. & Miss DeSoto Scholarship Pageant, a groundbreaking event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional students of DeSoto High School. The pageant will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at DeSoto High School's Fred Nickels Auditorium.

This prestigious event is a celebration of intellectual excellence, outstanding leadership, and deep commitment to community service. It will shine a spotlight on the remarkable talents and accomplishments of DeSoto High School students, highlighting their academic achievements and contributions to the community.

The Mr. & Miss DeSoto Scholarship Pageant is more than just a pageant; it's an opportunity to recognize the outstanding students who are shaping the future of DeSoto. This pageant provides an exciting platform for students to showcase their excellence in academics, leadership, and community involvement, while helping to provide scholarships that will support their dreams of higher education.

The pageant’s ultimate goal is to offer substantial scholarships to deserving students who exhibit academic excellence, leadership qualities, and a passion for community service. The event aims to create meaningful pathways to higher education, ensuring that the future leaders of DeSoto have the resources and support they need to succeed.

Through strategic community partnerships and fundraising initiatives, the DeSoto High School Student Council seeks to establish a sustainable scholarship fund that will support these students’ collegiate aspirations. The funds raised will also enable the Student Council to continue developing impactful programs that enhance student life and foster stronger bonds within the DeSoto community.
