Staffing Opportunities

The DeSoto ISD Eagles Nest Afterschool Enrichment Program needs the support of purpose-driven and student-focused educators interested in serving students through these unique opportunities.

 

Tutors can earn up to $25 per hour for their services.

DEN campus site coordinators can earn an additional $10,000 to lead a campus’ after-school enrichment offerings.

 

Job Roles and Responsibilities

 

Site Coordinator Overview

Organize, plan, and implement after-school and summer enrichment programming for DeSoto ISD students. Will ensure high-quality program services and support to students participating that meets the national after-school association's standards and objectives. They will be responsible for the safety of each student during the class. They will communicate with the coordinator of any issues that occur. 

 

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Able to work with diverse groups of students. 

  • Must have experience in the skillset teaching. 

  • Must be fully versed in DeSoto ISD discipline management and emergency protocol. 

  • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office. 

  • Must have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 

  • Strong organization and time management skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage campus before and after school programs 

  • Recruit and select campus staff to support vibrant learning experiences. 

  • Maintain ongoing communication with campus principal, Director State & Federal Programs, as appropriate. 

  • Collect required documentation, including but limited to, daily attendance, materials, etc. 

  • Attend all required training. 

 

Staff will receive supplemental pay for hours worked at the rate of $25 professional and $15 paraprofessional an hour which will be paid by the Leading and Learning Department.
