This is the image for the news article titled DHS GRADUATION LOCATION CHANGE
Due to predicted inclement weather, the DeSoto High School Graduation has been moved to the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts located at 1110 W Debbie Lane, Mansfield, Texas 76063.

The graduation will still take place on Wednesday, May 29 at 8 PM.

Graduates need to arrive to the venue, using the North Entrance, and check-in by 6 PM. They will remain in holding rooms 5 and 6 until the start of the ceremony.

Since the venue has limited seating, each graduate will be afforded six tickets. Tickets may be picked up from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Multi-Purpose Center (MPC) located behind DeSoto High School. Students/parents must present a valid photo ID to pick up tickets. Very limited additional seating may be available in an onsite overflow location. However, such seating will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. For those who cannot attend the ceremony, please visit to access the link to view the livestream online. In addition, we are opening the DHS Auditorium at 7:15 PM for viewers to watch the livestream of the ceremony.

Doors open at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts at 7 PM for guests.

The DHS Administration team originally secured an indoor venue for contingency in the event of inclement weather. However, that venue was not available on Wednesday and would have caused the district to move the ceremony to Thursday.

We understand the importance of this special ceremony and that people travel and make significant arrangements to be present for their graduates. We would hate to further inconvenience our families by changing the date.

We are thankful for the collaboration of Mansfield ISD and look forward to celebrating our Class of 2019 at 8 PM on Wednesday, May 29 at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts.
