DeSoto High School and the Athletics Department hosted college-bound student athletes, their families, coaches and college representatives on May 17 for the second signing day. An additional 21 student-athletes signed their intent to various colleges in the DHS Chris Dyer Gymnasium, taking the Class of 2017 academic and athletic scholarships to over $7M!

The event also included a celebration of the successful boys and girls track seasons – with the Girls winning the 6A State Title – a back to back win and the 5th title in seven years! Head coaches June Villers (Girls) and Donald Miller (Boys) announced each state competitor and relay team member. The teams will also be celebrated at the Board Meeting May 22.
