I am too Hot or Cold

Whenever there are comfort issues in a classroom or school, there is a protocol in place to be able to report in a manner that will allow Operations to systematically investigate each situation according to the severity of the issue. Ideally, the best result for solving a comfort issue would follow these steps:

  1. Teacher/Professional/Custodian notifies designated personnel about a comfort issue
  2. Designated personnel contacts Roger Oster via Cell call or text (214)-356-1892 Roger.Oster@desotoisd.org stating what the issue is, room number, and room temp. Or Maintenance receives comfort issue as a work order and contacts Energy Management to check the EMS system for errors.
  3. If the issue is not solved through the EMS system, the Energy Dept will make a detailed work order for the HVAC Dept to investigate at the site.
