The mission of the DeSoto Independent School District Fine Arts Department is to empower every student to develop and achieve their creative and expressive potential through inspiring instruction and diverse learning experiences. Our department will foster the growth, both artistically and academically, of students through the integration of the arts with emerging technologies as well as traditional techniques. Students will be immersed in self-discipline, creativity, intrinsic motivation, and teamwork through aligned, articulated, and assessed experiences in the arts.
