DeSoto Independent School District 2020 Board of Trustees election is scheduled for May 2, 2020. The candidate filing period ended Friday, Feb. 14. Places 3, 4 and 5 are scheduled for election this year. Trustee candidate eligibility is defined in PolicyBBB (Local).

The official Ballot Drawing will take place on Monday, February 24, 2020 @ 8:15 am in the Board Room. Withdrawal deadline is 5:00 pm, February 21, 2020.
DeSoto ISD’s Board of Trustees has seven members. As provided in DeISD Policy BBB (Local), trustees serve three-year terms and are elected by position with terms staggering a three-year cycle.
