Pre-K to Post Grade Pathways Informational Event

DESOTO--DeSoto ISD has a program for every age student at every level focused on providing a foundation for college and career access and experience. Learn about the opportunities DeSoto ISD has for your child from 6p to 8p. Wednesday. November 20, 2019, at the DeSoto High School Academy Cafeteria located at 600 Eagle Drive in DeSoto. 

Under the T-STEM designation, DeSoto ISD the district’s Career and Technical Education curriculum and resources as well as that of Let’s GEAR UP and Next Generation GEAR UP in collaboration with the US Department of Education’s magnet schools assistance program grant, the Academies for Academic Enhancement and Excellent grant.

The T-STEM designation along with the grants provided to DeSoto ISD means deeper curriculum support and resources for every child in the DeSoto ISD school community.

To help parents better understand and navigate the options available to study and explore in DeSoto ISD, the district has organized an event designed to educate and empower families to make informed decisions about students’ educational pathways under five graduation plan endorsements designed by the state. Students can choose from five endorsement areas: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Business and Industry Public Service Arts & Humanities Multidisciplinary Studies DeSoto ISD is preparing students for college and career through a diverse body of programs, grants, and other resources. Come and learn what DeSoto ISD can offer your student at the November 20, 2019, parent- and family-focused event aimed at helping current and prospective students understand the wide range of educational opportunities available in DeSoto ISD. Join us at 6 pm, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at the DeSoto High School Academy Cafeteria located at 600 Eagle Drive in DeSoto.
