DeSoto High School T.A.F.E. Members & Sponsors at the Region 10 Conference!

DeSoto High School is home to a brand new chapter of The Texas Association of Future Educators or T.A.F.E. Last week,

several DHS T.A.F.E Members attended the Region Ten Conference in Mesquite, Texas. Here, the members heard from a guest speaker and our

Chapter President, Michael Carroll presented three break-out sessions on Dr. Wong's Book-The First Days of School. We also submitted

entries into the Theme Bulletin Board and the Recruitment Poster Contest. This year at our Annual State Conference, we will be running

for State President School represented by Michael Carroll as President. We hope to "Build Friendships for the Future" with

networking skills. We look forward to more GREAT events in the spring and being elected State President School.

Welcome to DeSoto High School, home of the Eagles! Our mission is to provide experiences for young men and women so they learn and practice the values of high academic and professional achievement as well as wholesome individual and civic character.
